Hi

I know Thurston (b1880 Walton le Dale Lancs) went to Canada with his wife Alice (b1878 Preston) and children after the 1911 census and wonder if someone could find a record of the emigration for me.
Thank you
Christine

:-D :-D :-D

Why didn't we use a wild card when looking for Thurston? Could it be that we thought they'd at least transcribe CARTER correctly???

Hi Christine,
Drop down list to _Province:Saskatchewan,of course.
Just put : Qu'Appelle where it says District Name, and 3 where it says Sub-district Number.

You'll get the option of JPG or PDF images. Malcolm says it's on page 16 (and I believe him!). ;-)

Yeah, I was briefly as I got up extra early to watch the Tour de France. I just checked on My Threads when it was over, then went back to bed..

I've been to (thru really) Moosomin 3 times - it's on the TransCanada E of Regina -almost in MB, and I'm wondering why someone would travel 5000m to go there. Admittedly 2 of my visits were in the winter, so brass monkey memories might colour my view.
I'm wondering if they had some rellies out there.
