Well I have found that the name Cockayne exists in Nottinghamshire. Variations include Cockings, Cooking, Caking. There is a Cocking in Lincolnshire. Thinking of the strong accents from the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire areas, no wonder that the name has so many variants. |

Tracy, if you're using Internet Explorer 8 it adds all that white space. To stop it, on the right of the website address bar there is a little icon that looks like a torn piece of paper (the compatibility mode icon) click it so it turns blue. Click it on any other tabs you have open. |
