right ,,,, i belive her name is frances mary cockayne born 1861 handley nottinghamshire died 1908 chesterfield according to census lol married richard payton 1882 chesterfield (both surnames spelt wrong) trying to find a birth for her

on daughters birth cert her name is frances mary cockayne

on marriage her name is frances mary cocking fount her in 1891,1901 census but desprate to find earlier ones

any help gratfully accepted

Until 1875, there were no penalties for not registering births

It may be that her birth was simply not recorded
