Find Ancestors

My G/F Richard Knight a widdower mrd my G/M Louisa Whitfield in Liverpool 28/03/1897. Her mrg cert says she was aged 23 and that her father was John Whitfield. I was unable to decypher his occupation. Their address was the same Bodley St Liverpool. The only other records I have are the 1901 census now living Arthur St Liverpool and my fathers birth cert in 1902 living at Upper Potter St Liverpool. Family whispers said that she died in a home in Lancaster.
There was a Louisa Knight admitted to Lancaster Moor Mental Hospital in 1903 and died there aged 53 in 1927 I believe this was probably my G/M but have yet to prove it.
I would dearly like to know who this lady was and where she came from, can anyone out there help me

Whittingham Hospital was a psychiatric hospital in the parish of Whittingham, near Preston, Lancashire

This is the right family the 1901 census does say she was born Liverpool but I am unable to tie her yob with her father in Liverpool when i contacted the Hospital records off ice they said she was from Manchester.
I did know all but one of Richards children the problem is Louisa. I can't find any trace 1881 or 1891 my father was William Henry. No birth records for her either

I can't see a Louisa born in Liverpool.
There is one born in Hulme (Manchester) in 1865.

There's a ten year difference between the age on the marriage certificate and the date of death on the one hand, and the census records on the other.
If the census is correct, she was quite old to be getting married for the first time. Does the certificate confirm she was a spinster?

My G/M is a bit of a mystery I wonder whether the information on her mrg cert is true. I've spent a lot of time looking for her but got nowhere I am signing off now so would just like to say thankyou for time and will come back later to see if there are any updates thankyou again

Not seeing a Louisa Whitfield born Lancashire with father John in 1881
Maybe Whitfield was her adopted name (i.e. her mother remarried and Louisa took her stepfather's name.)

Perhaps she got her father's name wrong or the marriage certificate.
