It mentions that in 1910 wife Mary ann and his sister Lily Agnes were living at 80 Corbridge St., Byker.#

However, by 1911 it looks like Lily Agnes is married and still living there but Mary Ann has moved on?

Where and when was he born?
What was his occupation and did he have any children, so we can confirm the 1911 census record?

william died in 1923 as Mary Ann his wiferemarried 1924 to Thomas Hare also Louisa Storey was born in1922 so 1923 seems about right thankyou so much for trying to help

Had to smile thisis the first time I have found threads what I am trying to find is where he is buried my mother said he had war wounds so maybe he went to a hospital born Morpeth and lived Walker Newcastle upon Tyne
he had 4 daughters and a son the latter died aged 1 James and he was never mentioned by my mother bless him daughters b. 1907 oldest child my mumLily Agnes - Margaret / Marther W. / Louisa youngest born 1922 Thankyou

I asked Lily to return to these boards and received a pm:

'I have his birth 1876 Morpeth - marriage to Mary Ann Davidson 1906 Newcastle upon Tyne (have certificate) children born / places he lived but not his Death Certificate his widow remarried Thomas Hare'

So Catherine's census appears to be the correct one..although the wife is definitely recorded as Margaret.

James the son who died is there...

There's a birth entry that matches her as MARGARET Ann...and she remarried (as Mary Ann Storey) in September quarter 1924
