My Grand Aunt Elizabeth McKay married Andrew Sharp Liddle in Newbattle, Edinburgh in 1909. Their 1st daughter, Rebecca MacKay Liddle was born 1910 in Newbattle. In 1911 they emigrated to Australia and settled in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales and it was there that their 2nd daughter, Margaret Sharp Liddle was born in 1912. |
