My Grand Aunt Elizabeth McKay married Andrew Sharp Liddle in Newbattle, Edinburgh in 1909. Their 1st daughter, Rebecca MacKay Liddle was born 1910 in Newbattle. In 1911 they emigrated to Australia and settled in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales and it was there that their 2nd daughter, Margaret Sharp Liddle was born in 1912.

I am in contact with my cousin in Australia, the daughter of Rebecca MacKay Liddle and would now like to find any descendents of Andrew Sharp Liddle's siblings.

His parents were David and Margaret Liddle and his siblings were:
William 1875, Agnes 1878, David 1879, Thomas 1884, Samuel Chisholm 1885, Jane Brown 1888, Isaac Sharp 1889, Margaret Sharp 1890, Elizabeth Sharp 1893 and Catherine 1895.

The 2nd forenames of 'Sharp' and 'Brown' derived from their Grand-parents.

Both Andrew Sharp Liddle and his Father David, worked in the Coal Mines in Scotland which was also the case for Andrew in Australia.
