William Hughes & Margaret Wilson were married in Belfast 1 June 1901 (that's the information I've been given)
I know Margaret's parents are George Wilson & Mary Jane Martin, but have no idea of the parents of William Hughes.
Would this information be on the marriage entry?

Thankyou!
William & Margaret are the grandparents of a friend of mine. She's getting interested in climbing her family tree, so this might get her going.

Wow! That's wonderful.
My friend has her grandmother's dob as 21 January 1877 (Margaret Jane Martin). That's the date you have listed for Anna (the first one). Strange.
All she knows about grandfather William Hughes is he was born about 1875 in "Randalstown" Drum-something
My friend will fall over when I give her all this information
Thankyou again <3

Randalstown is a small town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, located between the towns of Antrim and Toome. It had a population of 4,956 people in the 2001 Census. It has a very prominent disused railway viaduct and lies beside Lough Neagh and the Shane's Castle estate. The town is bypassed by the M22 motorway with junctions at both the eastern and western ends of the town.

The GRO(I) index thru 1958 (excl N. Ireland post-partition) is available at: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1®ion=UNITED_KINGDOM_IRELAND
One can purchase certs (or cheaper still, the uncertified images of the rego) via: http://www.groireland.ie/ [That works for N Ireland pre-1922 too, but after partition one has to use GRONI for the North]
The Irish 1901/1911 censuses are free at: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/ [Not heard of any release dates for next census (=1926 in both Irelands)]
I think Gins is wrong abt info on an m.cert - I don't think it names either of the couple's parents, just their fathers.

Malcolm, I is never wrong my dear, I just make typo errors ;-)
Of course, it is the fathers names that will be in the certificate (hopefully)
