Find Ancestors

I've been trying to find this family on the 1911 census and I'm not having much luck. I have the family on the 1901 census but unable to find them after. This is the 1901 census. Margaret was Alberts mother and she died in 1909.

the name is actually Abbiss. There was also a sister who is not on this census but is living with another family at the time of the census, her name was Dorothy Helen Abbiss and she was living with a family named Clarke. I can't seem to find her in 1911 either.

On the 1901 census Albert E is a widower and I think his wife maybe died giving birth to Dorothy although I have nothing to prove this. Albert married again in 1908 but it doesn't make it any easier to find him or his sons.

Any help would be really appreciated.

On that 1911 census Albert & Florence had been married 2 years. For number of children Albert had written "3 by former wife, ages 20, 14 and 12" but it had been crossed out.

Jan, Albert was a coach builder b.1861 Maulden but he married Grace Dunton in 1908 and they had 3 children according to a family member.
The children were Irene who died very young, Charles and Hilda. Charles Albert was born in 1909.

It wasn't Grace Dunton that he married, that was his son Ernest. Albert married Florence Graves in 1908. So it looks like Albert had another son, Albert according to 1911 census.

Yes Jan, I was getting my notes muddled but have corrected it above. It was his son Ernest who married Grace Dunton and he actually married Florence Graves.

I have the marriage certificate for Richard C Abbiss in front of me now. According to marriage cert. he was a corporal in the Royal Engineers and living in Streatham when he married in 1917.
