Find Ancestors

Hi all, Thank you in advance with any help.

Below is 1911 census which shows my great great grandmother Mrs Johnson Visiting family of Websters , which is her maiden name.
Full name Eliza Ann Johnson nee Webster.
I have her childrens birth certificates - Annie Emma and Lily that all show Mother and Father as above - Eliza Ann Johnson nee Webster and David Johnson.
I can find this particular Webster family going back through the Censuses but not an Eliza Ann that would fit around dates.
I am looking for her birth record , marriage and death. Same for David Johnson who again I am struggling to find. Born in the Grimsby/Lincolnshire area.

Please let me know if need any further info. Still fairly new to the boards

well born in 1847 her birth may well not have been registered,There were no penalties for none .or late, registration before 1875.

Have you found her with her family on earlier census.

Have you tried FreeBMD for the marriage

or is Martha her mum ?? is Eliza born 1881 ??

I assumed this to be Eliza with her 2 children

Strange it doesn't give her name or that fact that sh'es married

when was Eliza Ann born please?

If going by the above census then yes Eliza would have been born 1881.
I originally thought Martha could have been her mum, but there is no mention of Eliza in any of the earlier census records with Martha's Family.
Looked on Free BDM but cannot find marriage.
I have Martha Websters family mapped out but cannot place Eliza so believe must be a part of another branch :-S

Not finding him in 1881

Yes this is Eliza with her children , only reason I know her name is due having the childrens birth certificates that all show Eliza Webster and David Johnson as the Father

With regard to David Johnson - What is his job listed as on their children's birth certs?

Occupation of father David Johnson is fisherman

if Charlie is her brother then finding his marriage cert will give father name. you may have to go through his children

Does she appear on 1901 census ?

This is same family 1891 census . Again no mention of an Eliza Ann
I cannot find her on any census apart from the 1911 that shows her as Mrs Johnson

Mike - Annie isn't on the 1901 census either her date of birth is 5th Sep 1901

Not finding births for George and Martha's children apart from Randle ( which is a year or 2 out)

Were the older children Martha's from a previous marriage maybe ?

If Eliza was from a previous marriage then DOB 1881 wouldnt fit as from this record shows George and Martha earlier. Which again leads me to think that Eliza is from another branch of the Webster family but of course cannot be sure as without birth record for her cannot find out.

But again - there's no birth for George Edward 1870 Grimsby

I think this must be the marriage record . Martha Trotter on the 1861 census shows her mother to be Naomi Thompson who then appears on later census with George and Martha .

Randle's birth certificate would confirm Martha's maiden name.

It would help if we could find them in 1881
