Going by the geography, I'd keep the Bucknall lead in mind. Searching for Sam* Re*d born 1845 +/- 5 years in Lincolnshire identifies 2 or 3 individuals: |

I don't think the 1861 is him - there is another Samuel Reed who appears later in Sheffield as a draper's assistant. |
