Have been away for a while and just trying to find Benjamin Ball I wonder where the information on Ben Ball baptised in Staffordshire was found as I have looked on free reg and can not see it there on family search there are two marriages for Ben to Hester Jelf one is stated as being in Staffordshire is this a coincidence? Letters of Administration (with the Will annexed) of the Personal estate and effects of the late Benjamin Ball of Chaceley in the County of Worcester, Barge Owner, deceased, who died on or about 2nd March 1849 at Chaceley aforesaid and left unadministered by Hester Ball widow, the relict and one of the residuary legatees for life named in the said Will were granted at the Principal registry to Jeremiah Ball of Chaceley aforesaid, Barge Owner the son and one of the Residuary Legatees substituted in the said Will he having been first sworn

Thankyou Reggie left computer for a while as I needed a rest I could not find benjamins death so thsnkyou not sure how I would see record of administration of will. Te census Susan found must be of son Benjamin who married a Mary SAlcomb Thankyou to everyone for their help

Thanki you Susan what census is that from I have 1841 census with Benjamin and Hester together with children William Benjamin Thomas Charles James Mary jeremiah born1817 who is my ancestor so not sure about otherfamily

Thankyou Susan yes they must be related as Chaceley has changed counties between Glouicestershire and Worcestershire my typing is slow as I am at home recovering from brain surgery so it may take me a while to respond but thankyou

Thankyou Susan but I think they were from Worcestershire as on marriage records it says otp which I think means of this parish but of course they might not have been born there ;-)
