Because the family came from Tewkesbury everyone is assuming that it was the Warwickshire River Avon, but it is possible that it was the Bristol Avon, which is not that far away. |

Ozibird - my uncle says she wasn't married, if she left any kind of an estate wouldn't this go to her husband or children if there were any. My gran received some monies but we understand there hadnt been a will so this was obviously through probate, but its worth having a look at your suggestion. |
