Depends what site you use, there are records (passenger) from 1826 on Ancestry and earlier for convicts |

Oh my goodness! You've found them! Thank you so much. I was convinced that Alfred and Elizabeth Lindop, their father and stepmother went out too because I couldn't find their deaths in the uk. or anything after my great grandfather's marriage. I've been looking for years! Thank you thank you thank you!! |

I had found the girls' uncle and great aunt going out to Aus. in 1853 aboard 'Arundel', on Ancestry, so some records there at that time. But their uncle John Ladd, (b.1811) wife Jane Catherine and daughter Sarah Barber & husband George went out also and I can't find them either. Lx |
