Don't know if this has come up yet.
Have just received an email telling me the 1911 census is free to view this weekend 11th to 14th.

:) I have sent a number of typo errors as well, its amazing that some people dont know how to spell Devon.

For some time Worcestershire and Newport (my two main areas) have not been transcribed on A. They are now - with errors...but rather with errors than not at all. A work in progress and it is now up to subscribers to correct the errors.

Dea Report 12 May 2012 15:43

Why don't Ancestry just buy a subscription to FMP and correct it for themselves on 95% of occasions ?? ;-) :-D :-D :-D

Ha ha Dea...but one I looked at today was my grandfather's brither mistranscribed on FMP as Carding (not Cording) and guess what it transcribed as on A......?

Dea

Dea Report 12 May 2012 15:51

Don't keep me guessing Jude??

FMP is NOT perfect by any means but in comparison to Ancestry - well................
