Thank you to all who replied. This is really helpful. My mother - Iris Wright- nee Blanch- was delighted to fill in some more details about her family.
All the five children of Louisa lived to a good age. The boys migrated for work in the coal mines in Pensylvania and did very well for themselves. Muriel, my Great Aunt was an amazing lady. Winnie her sister was my grandmother and was 'adopted' although not formally by her grandmother when everyone else migrated, including Louise, the mother of the five. Some of them came back to work in Abertillery pits with Louise as housekeeper. My mum was most keen to know about her Great Gran Jones - who mostly brought her up - which she now knows about through these inquiries. I nowknow a bit more about Lance Blanch for searching in the future.
The threads are all caught up now so thank you all very much indeed.
