The 1871 census mentioned as Edward born 1841 so this couldnt be the one im after as he married either in 1834 or 1836.

EDIT No this John is married to Margaret in 1871 and has quite a few children.

Looking at this Mary ann moved in with John as he had been widowed with two sons and they ended up marring.

All this info has been great, its now filled a hole in my research into my family. Its hard when its cross counties as your never sure if there is a link.
