That sounds like my Patrick that im after.. He was 29 when he married in 1902 and the irish background as well. He may have well gone back to Ireland when he married Winifred Banks because they both disappear on the census after they marry. If i knew for certain it was the right one i would order a certificate, but i spose thats the only way to find out right?

I have been looking into the Catherine Coogan, but again its all sketchy until you can get certs..Anyways, im off to get ready for work now, but every break i get i will be checking my emails..

All I can add is that, if you know anything at all about Patrick, his siblings, anything etc, then post it here.

Certificates cost, I cant tell you how many 'duff' ones I have bought, but always got the so an sos in the end!

All worth it in the end......had to know, and I dont give up ;-)

Heading back over to UK next week and hoping to dig up any info on the Foy and Banks family. I am at a standstill with it all now and hoping somebody can delve further than what i seem to get.. Any help is good help

as you have the exact date and place of Winifred & Patricks marriage would it be worth contacting Lancs Record office to see if they would look to see if there is any extra handwritten info in the register (they do have the appropriate register)
