Find Ancestors

Please can someone assist me, I am trying to find the names of my Great Grandparents. My Grandfather was Arthur Williams Heighway born Dec 1921 (Salford). Mothers maiden name Willams.
Arthur had 2 siblings: Norah W Heighway born 1924 (Salford) and Marion W Heighway born1929 (Salford).
Your assistance would be greatley appreciated

I think you might need a birth cert. Did you look for Heighway/Williams marriages on Freebmd?

To order the cert online, you need the info provided on this site, which will look a little different to the format in Mel's post (hers is from Ancestry I think) but contains all you need. Certs cost £9.25 and can be ordered from the GRO (General record Office) - go here and follow instructions!

I thought the name Heighway was quite unusual but it seems there were quite a lot in Lancashire!!

Have looked on Ancestry trees for Nora, Marion and Arthur but not there.

There is a marriage of a Nora Heighway to a Robert Shaw in 1945 which would be about right for her age but could'nt be certain that it is her!!
