Find Ancestors

I'm looking for a David Lyon from Prescott born 1873. He is me great grandfather. Married Margaret woods. He appears in the 1881 census as living with Elizabeth Lyon And Edward lawrenson. Davis is 8 years old and his fathers name is given as Edward Lawrenson. (confused). Elizabeth is a widow but was married to Thomas Lyon. In the 1891 census David is living with Edward his wife and child.
Any help appreciated.

Edwards Lawrenson is listed as HER son... and little David is listed as her GRANDSON!

It does not state that David is Edward's son..... David could be a child of another of Elizabeth's children.

On the 1881 census Elizabeth Lyon, 61, is head, Edward Lawrenson, 25, her son and David Lyon, 8, her grandson. There's nothing on the original to suggest that Edward Lawrenson is David Lyon's father.
