Please could some one help me with find out who Fanny Maria Bacons ( born 1812 in Lymington ) parents siblings are. I know she married a Chiverton and then into my Cox family via Thomas but now I am really stuck. Some one told me over a year ago her parents were Richard Bacon and Dinah Dore ( I have found both and there relatives but there is no record of them marrying in fact Dinah didnt marry as far as I can tell )I never checked the info was correct I just assumed as I was new to this it was and now have spent a week naming and then deleting people off my tree.I would give up but damn stuboness and slight desperation (look at the time again) will not let me. If anyone could be kind enough to shed some light on this I would be so happy so thank you to anyone who can.

Hi Jenny
From familysearch .... these records are taken from the actual Paris Records.
The marriage to Richard is before bmd registration ....... and the Parish register does not show the names of the fathers.
It could be worth asking your local LDS office to bring in the microfiche for you though ..... sometimes the vicar made notes in the margins!

This is Henry's probate record;
England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1861-1941 about Henry Richard Bacon Name: Henry Richard Bacon Probate Date: 18 Jan 1871 Death Date: 16 Dec 1863 Death Place: Southampton, England Registry: Winchester His address confirms that this is definately him....... I thought his middle name maybe of interest as you thought Richard was his father.
Henry was a Master mariner.

Now Henry born 1815 was Henry Richard when he died, he also had a son in 1849 named Henry Richard.......... so I wonder if his father was Henry Richard? Also the marriage I posted earlier shows Henry marrying Dinah DoVe......... could someone have mistaked the "V" for a "R" or vice versa???
