Find Ancestors

Pulling my hair out as I have been searching NSW BDM's and cannot find the marriage. I have George Greene's dc for Jindara district of Albury NSW (farmer born Ireland ) 2/7/1877 which has him born in 1811. Wife is stated as Eliza McGill and married Jindera. Informant is son George Greene Farmer of Jindera. Unfortunately son George did not report names of children but there are 2 males, 2 females living and 1 male dead. I have found his buriel on the cemetery list but not his wife Eliza. Can only think that she moved away or remarried. DC states George was 37 years in NSW.

I found the son George's death at Jindera for 1885 with correct parents named. One of his daughters appears to be Eliza married a John Keighran 1866 Albury and died 1922 - correct parents named. Can anyone help find the marriage and the remaining children.

All with the same parents but his surname does not have the E on the end of Green.

Yes I have the DC in front of me and those dates are correct and born Ireland.

It probably should read 1877

But at the moment it suggests he was 166 years old when he died which must be a world record ;-)

The Australia death index gives him born 1811 died 1877 :-)

On the death index for Eliza J - the daughter - mother is shown as Eliza E

The name Eliza McGill comes from George henry Greene's dc 1877 which I have a copy of. It states Place of Marriage Jindera, Age at Marriage Unknown, name of Spouse Eliza McGill Children of Marriage 2 Males 2 females living 1 male dead.

George's death shows him as George H GREENE, son of Robert and Ellen, Albury district (reg 3437 - is that the right one?)

I doubt George snr was married in NSW if he had only been in NSW for 37 years.

The George H GREEN (George Henry) who had children with Ellen E (nee CRAWFORD) i Albury district around the same period is a different George I believe - he owned Iandra Station in Young and died in 1911 aged 73. He arrived in 1842 aged 4.

Yes I did research the Landra George Green and he is not the one I am looking for. Appreciate your help. I have now compiled heaps of information on the George Green who died in Albury so I am still trying to see if there is a link to my family line and the George I have been looking for.
