We all thought he was born in Wales but on the 1911 census he is down as born Aldershot

census before 1911 I think he is down as being born in Kent

Any help would be fantastic Carol

Sorry, but how can son Frederick on 1911 census be noted as being born in 1915?

His marriage cert should have fathers details (if known) to help trace him in earlier census records

Their marriage cert has a line drawn through in the box where fathers name should be so I have nothing to go on

If there's no father's name on marriage cert. then he could very well have been illegitimate.

What was his profession on the cert. and what did he give as his address?

Were there any witnesses for him?

Catherine the census in 1901 in kent I think is the wrong one as he was in stockton then he married Elizabeth in 1902 at St Paul's thornaby Mboro

Wasn't sure if you had made a typing error for the date of birth of Frederick (son) or if you had, as you have said, just added him on as he was born after the census. Now I know.

the cert has him down as living in St Peter's Parish Stockton no proper address He has signed his name in full Frederick William Humphreys

No I don't think the 1901 Rochester one is correct either.
I posted it to show that the Frederick born Rochester, Kent was still in Kent in 1901. When there are multiple possibilities, it is always good to try to trace the others to try and eliminate them from your research.
