I am trying to fill in a few years of my uncles life from when he was born in little crosby liverpool parents george banner and rose butcher I know which school he wentto and I no he was in the 1914 18 war

but after that it is a complete blank I know he went away to sea just as a ordinary seaman just around the coast I think although he used to say he lived in usa for a bit and once in prison in the chain gang in america he used to visit us when he was in port at liverpool somtimes helived to use the name Bob

he married a girl from rochdale called hilda bunnell when he was 49yrs old and had a boy and a girl
I dont know when he died

Septimus is seventh in Latin, often the 7th child has this name. Ben was the seventh. I've got an ancestor who was a Septimus.

I don't recognize the word heammus.
