Please can someone help.
I am seeking information about my great aunt Charlotte Powell. She is also listed as Carlotta and Ciathra.
She was born in St Helens Jersey in June 1869, the daughter oh Ada Powell.
There were unstabstantiated family legends of a disowned heiress (Ada possibly)
Charlotte was brought up in Jersey by her "adopted"/putative father George Bulson (1824-1894).
The most recent information was that she was living on independant means at 192 St Pauls Road Islington London in 1891.
I would be grateful to learn what happenned to her.

I see my post has been restored.

Charlotte was born on the 19th of June 1868 and baptized as Charlotte Blanche on the 26th August. Her godparents were Edwin Bulson and Mary Bulson.

She was the illegitimate daughter of Ada Powell.

Edwin and Mary seem to be the children of George Bulson.

In 1871 I assume that Charlotte in the 'Colather' Powell living with the family

The 1901 Charlotte Shepard that Shirley found isn't her,

Son Harold's baptism names his parents as George William Shephard and Charlotte Marile Cavey
