Lesley, that's why we needed a fresh pair of eyes! That looks highly likely. The original says one child had died so that might have been Thomas Benjamin as he's not shown. |

I'm also struggling to find Benjamin Cutten in 1911, on the remote off chance that Maria's children were with him |

The head's name should of read Nathan and the James Warren confirms it as definitely being them as Jane's maiden name was WARREN and James was her brother. |

Thank you so much. I did wonder that as I can't find any records for any of them under that name. |

Well, I'm stumped for now. Quite possibly MAria was living with someone and they were registered under his name. |

Those children are all Sarah & Joseph William's they were recorded as niece's & nephews as all born before parents marriage and given mothers maiden name. Presumably to avoid disgrace. |

Maria's not with her mother or sister in 1911 (who's are those Burles children?) |

That is the right Benjamin but again both the daughters are missing. |

Benjamin is saying he's married in 1901, although Maria seems to be denying all knowledge! |

Yes that is their marriage. |

Well that is the right Maria with her mother and sister but where are her husband and daughter's Sarah & Alice how strange. |

Alice's birth address was handy for 1901: |

Unfortunately I don't know. Someone looked for them for me but they couldn't be found but all the children were born Enfield, Middlesex so my guess would be there. |
