Hi all,
Im searching for any information about my grandmother's grandmother Madeline Derbyshire......all i know is she married a John Thomas Ledsham and had a son Stanley Ledsham who was born 20th October 1901 in Hamilton ave, Paticroft, Eccles.
I dont have any dates birth death or marriage for Madeline and John.
Can anyone help?????

This is the only M. Derbyshire born in Gamorganshire at that time - not sure about this!

Samantha, I have edited 1881 census to give more details re. magdalen's mother and (presumably) grandmother.
The 4 males are lodgers.

I think the most important cert is madeleine's marriage cert - you need her father's name.

Having said that, if his name is Robert then this will be her father. Just a small ?? re. her 1st name.

Do you think Robert Derbyshire could have died before the 1881 cencus???? How would i find this out for sure????
