I appreciate and understand your comments about my wife asking about cousins aunts and uncles or siblings of Peter. If this were possible we would already have done that. Her grandfather Peter died the year she was born and her mother Agnes (nee) Kelly died 35 years ago without mentioning anything about her family apart from the existence of her cousin Terry (surname not known). Sadly, theres nobody from her family's older generation still alive to ask. This is why we are appealing for help to glean any clues we can. |

I think that what would be the most helpful would be for your wife to check with her parents, aunts, cousins, etc., to see if any of them remember any siblings of Peter. This would really help identify Peter on the 1901/1911 census, whether in England or Ireland. |

Can your wife recall the names of any of Peter's family? Any Aunts or Uncles? |

Thank you Choccy, I had noticed that Peters age and mothers name as next of kin did not agree with the census details. |

So William Hayden married Mary Kelly in 1917 ? Hence Mary Hayden. Mary was 2 years younger as per the census. I don't know, but it seems to make sense ! :-) |

If the following is William & Mary Hayden's marriage, wonder whether Mary Hayden could have been Peter's sister? |

Thanks again for the 1911 lookup, I'm hoping I can find some clues to prove this is the right family, the guy is consistent in that he's a labourer up to his death. |

That would be the result I was mentioning, but I don't know if it is the right family. Theres a lot of children there I have no knowlege of. It says Michael is a dock labourer in 1901, he was a deceased timber works labourer in 1920. So I'm not sure I 'm on the right track yet. |
