What research have you done to get back to her name

I have a copy of my grt grandfathers marrige lines and on it, it gives father as Anthony Maloney its a hard thing to make out, but think Anthony was a bootmaker, my grt grandfather was married in1883 and again hard to make out but is looks like he was 38, so I am trying to find who his mother was, if he was 38 it would mean William the son was born in 1845, I tired to get a copy of his birth certific but they could not find anything on him, and sent me my money back.

My grt grandfathers name was William George Anthony Maloney, I have record and copies of all of Williams children, its just Williams parents I can not find

Its really a shot in the dark as there are not a lot of Anthony Maloneys in London, and where the family lived, and one of my grt Aunts still lived in the same house when i was 12 yrs old ie 25 Ruby Street off the Old Kent Road

On the marriage that Andrew posted of Anthony Maloney & Ellen Nally, Anthony is just a labourer, not a bootmaker.

Just realised that the family lived in London, so probably not the marriage in Chorlton. Who did William G A marry and where?

That's the question I asked, Potty, because the only marriage that I could find was that one in Chorlton. There seems to be a birth there of William that would match too.

William married Eliza Emily Buckhurst on 15 Jan 1883 in Christ Church in the parish of Camberwell, they both lived at 850 Old Kent Road gives Williams father as Anthony Maloney and Eliza's father as Robert Buckhurst, and I am sure it give Williams age as 38 its not a good copy, William died before 1902 as Eliza married again

If Anthony'swife was not Ellen i have not any idea who it could be as I say its one big brick wall

Please can you give us all the info you have about William George: who were his children and where and when were they born. We can then try to find him on the census after his marriage, which should give us his year and place of birth to find him on previous censuses.

If you already have him on a census, could you please give us all the info from that census.

No wonder we couldn't find the marriage - it under Moloney!
