Thanks Andy, that is fantastic. I did find Robert and Elizabeth in 1881 but their children didn't seem to follow through but they did have a son Casadian!!! He must have died by 1891 or got sent off to his grandparents.

Violet Dams 7/3/1906 died Rutland 1983.

So it looks like the correct one in 1911.

where details from the marriges have been given these are from the LMA for london marriages and are from the parish records that the London Metropolitan Archives have made available.

Most other areas you have to buy the cert I,m afraid.

I have on occasions been given details of marriages but I am not sure of the scope of this facility.
Violet Baines' marriage is far too late to see her in census after the event, to reveal her place of birth but I have a possible target in the 1911 census and wondered if her marriage
