I have on occasions been given details of marriages but I am not sure of the scope of this facility.
Violet Baines' marriage is far too late to see her in census after the event, to reveal her place of birth but I have a possible target in the 1911 census and wondered if her marriage

where details from the marriges have been given these are from the LMA for london marriages and are from the parish records that the London Metropolitan Archives have made available.

Most other areas you have to buy the cert I,m afraid.

Where have you got her age from ?
How do you know she wasn't born after 1911

Frederick W Dams married Violet in leicestershire.

Frederick William Dams 10/3/1906 died Rutland 1986

Violet Dams 7/3/1906 died Rutland 1983.

So it looks like the correct one in 1911.

Thank you Shirley and Mike. Before Andy put up the death for Violet I didn't know her birth year but this new information does seem to lean towards my theory.

Yes Andy I found the 1901 when Ancestry were giving it for free and next to it I have written " Where is Thomas" - lol

Thanks Andy, that is fantastic. I did find Robert and Elizabeth in 1881 but their children didn't seem to follow through but they did have a son Casadian!!! He must have died by 1891 or got sent off to his grandparents.
