all I can see with a free search is ... hold on, now i'm seeing her listed in 2011 -- same place as her birth, but I can only see the town county and partial post code.

the listing for that surname with initial K at BT on line in that location is not her unfortunately

it could be worth buying credits at www.192.com to find the full info if no one here is able to access it

Kerry have you tried contacting Katrina on this site ?

she is a member with herself in her tree

people only receive notices of messages if they still have the same email address as is in their account here, or if they come to the site to find them

you can tell whether someone has read your messages by looking in your 'sent messages' ... if the envelope is still purple it hasn't been read

she and her husband are on the electoral roll together but unfortunately only up to 2007 and I do not see a current telephone listing at BT on line.

Potty

Potty Report 21 Oct 2011 15:46

Kerry, have you tried contacting the people with those names in their trees? Doesn't always work as a lot of people no longer use the site, but worth a try.

Unless he was married to the mother(s) you are unlikely to find their births

When you refer to the 'real' children of Ken Mcbride........I'm guessing that you mean legitimate?

First step.........find out if he married.............. if he didn't, there can't be any

Flick

Flick Report 21 Oct 2011 14:53

From Lancsbmd..........

Lancashire Marriage indexes for the years: 1921
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
GASKELL Frederick SERVICE Letitia West Derby, Register Office or Registrar Attended Liverpool REG_WD/385/141

So ............. they married at the Register Office, or they were Catholics.........or non-Conformist

Kerry, a suggestion if you don't mind! Try to space your query and use a bit more in the way of full stops, as it can be hard to decipher what you are asking.
Try Freebmd as suggested. You will also find you need to order a certificate from time-to-time to confirm findings or take research back further. Once you get back to 1911 you can look at census reports. If you do not have a sub to Ancestry or Findmypast just ask on here and we can look things up for you.

Births Mar 1923 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gaskell Gwendoline Service Liverpool 8b 227

I wouldn't normally do this, as I firmly believe it's better for you to find info yourself...................

But....this is from freebmd (as advised by Jan)

Marriages Sep 1921 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gaskell Frederick Service W.Derby 8b 1135
Service Letitia Gaskell W.derby 8b 1135

It's the best, and easiest, way to get BMD info......and it's FREE.

When your Platinum membership expires, take a tip.................renew on GR as a BASIC member, and use other sites for research

Mike * Report 21 Oct 2011 14:45

On freebmd you just put in the surnames and hey presto !

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marriages Sep 1921
Gaskell Frederick - Service - W.Derby 8b 1135
Service Letitia -Gaskell - W.derby 8b 1135

Buy the certificate which will give you their ages and father's names

Flick

Flick Report 21 Oct 2011 14:44

GR is not a good place to try to do ANY research.................so many much better options

brummiejan

brummiejan Report 21 Oct 2011 14:44

To start you off, I put in the two surnames and came up with just one result (lucky you, the names are unusual!):

Marriages Sep 1921
Gaskell Frederick Service W.Derby 8b 1135
Service Letitia Gaskell W.derby 8b 1135

Your best site - if you aren't already using it - is Freebmd for births, marriages and deaths 1837-1950ish:
