just to clarify Flick's comment ...

if you had the 1851 census you had his mother's name ... it says

Mother's Name: Elizabeth Scarlet
Where born: Northbourne, Kent, England

it was then a simple matter it seems to find her with her husband William in 1841 in Northbourne

you will appreciate that when people ask questions we think that if they do not say they know something then they do not know it and various of us spend time finding it and prefer not to spend time finding things that are already known :-)

After seeing Alviegal's posting ,had a look at other trees and at least 1 tree has a record of a marriage prior to Elizabeth Wales which is
to Elizabeth Brett (b 1779 Ash) 15 Oct 1796 in Ash Kent
The 1st five of the 12 births were with Elizabeth Brett (1805-1817)
No record of first wife's death

Several trees on Ancestry give Job's parents as William b1776 and died 1847 - both Northbourne
mother- Elizabeth Wales b Ash 1787 died Eastry 1861

Job was 1 of 12 children born between 1806 and 1829

You have all been a great help at least 90% of you and I will follow up all of your replies. Its great to think we can be guided by the experts?

Unfortunately Job was 14 at that time and was living with the Waters family, that doesn't mean to say they were his parents, and thanks for the comment

If you already had all censuses, including 1841, you knew the names of his parents, so the request was a waste or everyone's time
