Find Ancestors

Good evening
I have found in the 1841 census on Ancestry:
Orchard Street, Westminster, St Margarets, Middlesex
John Cocks (mistranscribed as Pocks) 55 Carpenter Not same county
Susannah (Pocks) 55 Not same county
David Henry (mistranscribed as Parks) 12 Same county
Letta (Parks) 8 Same county
I've tried various searches on Ancestry but cannot find any of them in later census years.
There is a death for John Cock in Sep 1847 in Westminster and a death for Susannah Cocks in Mar 1847 in Westminster, which may be mine and would explain nothing in 1851 onwards.
Any help much appreciated. Sorry for long message

I am not aware of anyone getting fed up with you Ronald.

If the David Henry who married in 1845 is the David Henry who was 12 in 1841, then he was only 16 on marriage. Not impossible, though unusual.

Or maybe his age in 1841 was incorrect. You would need to get the marriage cert to be sure.

But your question is about finding them in later years.

Can I ask who your known ancestor is? And how you know who he or she is, i.e what evidennce you have?

GB - I think you've cracked it again with the Joseph Hodgson marriage. How did you access details of marriage without cert? Brilliant.

The Cocks family are on my mother's side. They were mainly undertakers living in Westminster and Fulham. The John Cocks I've found on the 1841 lived in Orchard Street, which is close to my other John Cocks (Rochester Row). I don't know if the 1841 John is definitely related to my family, but another lady who is also researching Cocks believes there is a link.
I take your point about David Henry Cocks marriage.
