Could Robert have been born before Ida Married? there is a Robert that could be her child born Wednesbury not sure how far that is from Birmingham though...just googled it not that far

If your gt grandmother re-married in 1943 in Wednesbury as mentioned in your other thread The Robert I found could well be the one you are looking for

Do you know where the boys (robert and Harry ) where living when your grandmother remarried and roughly how old they would have been?

cant find a robert or harry evans with mothers maiden name heap

the closest is a barry j evans born in 1945 in birmingham

she was registered March so she could have been born Nov/Dec1922

yeah it would have been my grandad and he died long before i had time to talk to him, i have found that marriage record and i belive it was him she had the two boys with, according to her death record she died 1970 and both boys where around in the birmingham area for the furnal x

The only one in Birmingham was a Barry that would fit in with that marriage

Death records are only as acurate as the person giving the information so they may have thought she was born in 1922

Not seeing any births with those names

I have found an Ida r heap born in walsall in 1923 does that sound right?

Yeah Heap is mums mother maiden name she married twice to i belive Robert A Evans and then to my grandad Thomas Green x
