I have been re-seaching my Mothers side of the family (Howards)

I have hit a dead end with the 1891 census for my Great Great Grandmother Kathy Maria Howard born Barraway Cambridge around 1891 .

I have tried looking under Kate Howard but nothing cannot find a marrage or death cert .

In the 1891 census she is living with her mother Charlotte and is unmarried with a baby girl Rossanna Olivia Howard .

Can anyone suggest any line of investigation ???

You seem to be saying that Kathy Maria Howard was born in Cambridgeshire c 1891, yet on the 1891 census she is an unmarried mother living with her baby daughter and her mother Charlotte ???

Can you confirm their ages please?

No it's me being thick! in 1891 Kathy was 20 and unmarried with a daughter Rosanna and both were living with her Mother Charlotte

That makes Kathy birth around 1870 .

I asked yesterday are you decended from Rosanna? it would help if we knew if we were on the right track rather than guessing

Geoff thinking that the 1903 Marriage might be the one...have advised him to look at Thread again, as 1911 of that couple posted, Kate too young!.
