I did indeed change my first offering as when the page renewed I immediately spotted that I had put the wrong birth year in my initial search (1886 instead of 1885). I re-did my search on Ancestry, deleted and pasted the correct result without even noticing that you had already posted the correct 1891 census.

"We all make mistakes" as the hedgehog said when he got off the scrubbing brush. ;-)

Iam looking for my Grandfather who doesn,t seem to exist in records
when marrying my Nan 1911 he used the name
Bertram Horatio Warren, his ww1papers state born Lambeth 1885,
1911 census says born Waterloo Rd ( Lambeth ) He died from war service in 1917.
but i cannot find a birth, SO i searched all UK for christian name only
IE :- Bertram Horatio 1883-1886, One result came up with surname Middleton which i have tried to followup I Have been on this forever ,loads of wrong certs purchased etc I would need more space to explain all

Cannot find him prior to 1910 marriage
His last surviving daughter told me her father had no family???
sadly she has now passed on, she wouldn't have known him much as she was born 1913 and he was over in France & died 1917
