The death index states Albert William died aged 47 so that would make his birth around 1894, however information given at the time may have been incorrect regarding his first/second names. |

Is your grandmother Knowles, and he was stationed at Knowle? |
|||

Yes, my Grandmother was Knowles, and he was stationed in Knowle, Solihull, and I got the information I do have from the police records, but due to a fire, that was the only information they had. There records didn't have a date of birth only when he died. I do have a copy of his death certificate, but that doesn't really give me any more information |

Do you think there is any possibility that they did not marry? |

Hi Patchem, yes my grandmother did marry again to a William Teager 16 July 1955. William Teager was aged 31 and his previous marriage was disolved. |

Curious - the only marriage I can find for a William Teager, searching +/- 10 years from 1955 is to a Dorothy Haywood in Bridgenorth, Shropshire. |

When did Dorothy marry Mr Haywood - as that 'marriage' does not seem to be showing, either? |
