Help please, i've hit a brick wall searching for Nora Darby's family.
Nora was born in the Bootle district of Cumberland in 1911, she married Harold Aubrey Constable in 1933 in Millom, Cumberland. Her father was James Darby.

Looking at births in the area after 1911 there are a few but they give the mothers maiden name as Darby

So did her parents not marry perhaps? or just confused? or maybe they are not her siblings?

Do you have her birth cert?

Wayne Report 8 Sep 2011 14:04

Yes that's strange Jax, but it says in the census they've been married 11 years, so not sure on that one

jax

jax Report 8 Sep 2011 14:47

Not sure about the marriage as it is not in the right area and I have just noticed a couple of births in Barnsley for Darby/Drew

Maybe Norahs birth cert will help
