Thank you Ann and brummiejan, that is pretty conclusive and gives some suggestion of Joshua's year of birth. Shame he died before the 1851 so failing to give more precise birth details ! |

I did see a death for William 1796 father's name Henry but I switched my attention to the marriage of Joshua and Martha, to take account of the earlier children in the 1841 census but nothing is showing up. Perhaps Martha is a second wife - further searching is required |
