Elizabeth Bull was baptised at the Parish Church of St.Peter and St. Paul, Swanscombe on the 10th. November 1861. She had been born in Milton Street, Swanscombe. In the church register her parents are shown as George Frederick and Rebecca Sarah Bull. The register shows that George Bull was a labourer.
She married William Robert Gosling at the same church on the 10th. April 1883. The register shows that William's father Robert was a publican but was deceased by the time of the marriage. The 1881 Census shows that she was working at Bowmans Lodge, Dartford Heath as a servant

Alison............how did you arrive at the birth year?

Yes that is a thought. I think I was assuming that there would be no Father as he had obviously died a long time ago.

You could send for the marriage cert, which may show a fathers name.

I have come to a full stop with Elizabeth Bull who Married a William Gosling in
2/4 1883 In Gravesend Kent. I have found an Elizabeth Bull in the 1871 census living at her uncles and in the 1881 census there is an Elizabeth Bull who is a scullery maid at a schoolin kent . This leads me to think that she must have been orphaned and therefore I'm not sure how to find out about her parents etc. I have also looked at other peoples trees but they don't seem to have an Elizabeth Bull with the right birth date. Help
