I'm looking for detail on her parents, info I have is very limited. I know when she died, so that gave me the birth date & also managed to find when they married, although very new at doing this & can not find details on her birth certificate

The only way you will know that would be to purchase the marriage certificate. :-)

The Ancestry tree has loads of detail but interestingly no attached records! Even has Mabel's birthplace as 4 Prospect Cottages, Bath Rd, Exeter, Devon, England. No more for her though, so not a direct descendant. Might be worth a look, I assume Ancestry still has 2 weeks free trial.
