Can't find a 1861 census to fit for Agnes.

William in 1851; there are a few that could fit him....... however it would be best to order his marriage certificate to Agnes to find their fathers names and the witnesses maybe of help too.

Hi,
This is really great help, I thought that Bell was just too common to get this much detail.
I've found Agnes' death in Jun Q 1897 registered in Bradford. So it seems very possible that William did get married again.
I found Stephen Bell's death in Sep Q 1853 in Leeds.

Victoria Report 8 Aug 2011 11:45

I've found a marriage for Stephen to Ann Harrison (6 Apr 1828), and the baptisms of the children.
I think I've found Stephen's christening, 11 Oct 1789 at All Saints, Wakefield. His parents were Stephen and Selina, so this seems to tie in.
There is a marriage for Stephen to Selina Cotton on 18 July 1780 at St James', Westminster, London.
