I have just recieved a death certificate for an Albert Walter Poole aged 70
right age and area only thing is I did not know he had a son thoght he only
had 2 daughters. it was registered by son A. Poole no full name
back to square one.

He could have been registered as Albert Poole, and then his parents started using the Walter later.

There are 2 others born vaguely around that time. As Dea says, we ned to know what other info you have - how you came by his birth year for example.

I have his birth certificate also his baptism record when he enlisted in the army he used Walter Albert Poole he also married a Rose Wilkinson in that name I have the marriage certificat married in Bethnal GreenGreen
An Elderly aunt knew them both but she is no longer with us.

he was born in Edmonton.

I have his Army records on Ancestry then then and Rose was a widow with a son called (I think) Albert (writing is very feint!!!)

Her son was VERY small when they married so would probably taken on the name of Poole.

I will go back and check the details for you!

Dea I have ancestry but I am unable to read his army papers as I am blind so Rose could have had a son the point is I can't find her first marriage her name was Rose Wilson before she married ??? Wilkinson
