Trying to find parents of Alfred Frederick Pashley b.1877 Thorne, W. Yorks d.1954 Dewsbury, W. Yorks. Can only find him in 1911 census, married to Sarah Jane Hall, their children Thomas William b.1900, Eva b.1903, Nellie b.1904, Sarah b.1905 and Millicent b. 1910. |

Ah she says Thorne. No birth in Thorne but this is close - I wonder if she knocked a couple of years off her age? |

Melanie John (who looks to be Sarah's father can be traced easily on the census from can be traced on all the census records from 1841 to 1901. Although he says he is married on them, this is the only one he appears with his wife. |

Here she is in 1871 working as a Housekeeper and on the census in Church Lane - same street as her hisband and daughter in 1871. |
