I saw these but am unsure as not actually saying james edward as 1901 and marriage does I couldnt actually find a birth for james edward meek either isnt that a bit odd

Not really Pamela, people added or left off names as it suited them :-))

If you notice his family lived at Edwards Court...maybe he liked the name Edward.

I cannot find my grandparents on the 1911....they didn't marry until September 1911.
