Fascinating!! My gt grandad was John Peake born in Moss Croft. He married Fanny Peake of Burton-on-Trent and had their first child, my grandfather, John Thomas Peake, in 1899.

There is an anomolly here whereby

Alfred Harry Kempster was actually born Harry Kempster to Martha 1883 and so cannot be brother-in-law to John Peake unless of course the other Alfred Kempster born at West Felton in 1884 was related to Martha.

Can you possibly unravel this
