Thanks, that comfirms Ann as well, Annie Woolfit Hall was their only child.
Would you be able to see if you could find both Ann's on the 1891 census please. Ann Hall (mother) was born 1834 Newark and Annie (Daughter) was born 1872 Lincoln. i have them on the 1881 census in lincoln with John.

The address is Sloop Hotel 16 Newland and Ann senior is down as a Licienced Victler.

Ann is down as Alice H so the enumerator must have been deaf!!
