Does anyone have a Goodall married to Cope connection on their tree?
My father was a Goodall his mother was Sarah Jane Cope born 1887 married 1906 in Wolverhampton. His father Edward Goodall. They had at least 8 children. Sarah died 1928. I need help with the Goodall. 1911 census shows he to be 47 her 24. Has anyone else got a tree with these two on it. I have ordered birth certs and marriage certs. Maybe you already have them on your tree.

This is a whole lot more information though and I am really going to put it to good use. You have given me more information than I have found on my own in about 3 yrs. I still have the issue with which Edward she was married to.
I have ordered a birth certificate on the one born in 1864 since that works with the age he is on the 1911 census. It's all very confusing. They are born in Wolverhampton yet they are having there first 2 living children in Cheshire. It's Ellesmere Port so I guess he is a sailor. Still,it's a long way to travel back then. They were both born in wolverhampton. I am getting a little crazy trying to work it out. I just called my sister in uk she is ordering the certificates from Wolverhampton.

it's from the free Mormon LDS site - when you open up a census page on there you will see there is an advanced search in the top right and corner - click on that and see what comes up - when you do find someone you can then go further back by ckicking on their name as I did in the postings I made - that's as far back as I could get
