You've already found the 1901 census for this Maddie and William is shown as a widower. Looks more than likely this is her.

I've had another look at the baptism records and they are the same.
Church is S. Lukes and not S. Jude. Both records are page 62 and registrar's name is Walker.
Looks as though the person doing the transcript just wanted to cover himself as the the name of the church on page 62 is a little difficult to read, but page 63 clearly shows Luke.
